My grandad

As a family we sadly found out my grandad had pancreatic cancer on the 10th of January , finding out in a&e was not the most comfortable place. I had great pleasure and sadness been able to look after my grandad until the very end. I hear him now calling me his little angel. We was informed my grandad had up to 11 months which kept our family going. My grandad kept strong no matter what was happening he tried chemo but unfortunately this lead to more health problems. We had to face reality my grandad would not be here much longer. I did all I could to keep my grandad comfortable throughout palliative care. Sadly we lost my grandad Bernard on the 31st of March this year. With everything going off my grandad did not get the send off he wished for. I am going to walk 1 mile a day for my grandad & to raise money for the family’s which will need support if they have to go through what our family did  Share
