What I’m doing and why.
I set myself and your good selves a challenge to acknowledge and celebrate a year since diagnosis, and that I’m here having mostly good days.
I appreciate and enjoy life more than ever, focusing on all that I have to be grateful for.
My challenge: last week, I played over 500 volleys with tennis partners who have been part of keeping me buoyant this year.
Your challenge: to be one of 50 people to sponsor me £10 each. My aim is to raise £500 for Pancreatic Cancer UK, by showing that if we all contribute a little then it can make a big difference. 50 people contributing £10 is uplifting beyond words. I liken it to the many messages of support I have had during the year. That continuum of support in its many forms has kept me lifted! It has been an unexpected joy that you can’t imagine or anticipate when hit with a cancer diagnosis like mine.
