"I’m taking part to help keep the good work going. My lovely husband was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2019 after months of battling with doctors. Thankfully we managed to get him referred to QE in Birmingham and his cancer was found before it was too late."

- Beth

"My dad was diagnosed in November 2019. 9 weeks later he passed away aged 71. Absolutely devastating. Not a day goes by without me thinking about him. I have taken on this challenge as we spoke as a family before Dad passed and said we would always do our best (in light of such a bad situation) to raise awareness of this awful cancer."

- Louise

"I took part with my son Matty, who loves walking so when we're out and about we proudly wore our T-shirts in memory of Julie, my wife. During the walks I could think of the good times we shared as a couple too."

- Stuart

We will remember them. We will honour them. We will fight for them.

Pancreatic cancer takes 84 lives every 3 days in the UK. So this September, we're remembering those we've lost and standing with those impacted by pancreatic cancer.

Thomas westmoreland

Im doing this in memory of my late and wonderful Brother-in-law Raymond Sewell who passed away last year

Jacqueline Tedder

I'm doing this walk for Philip, my husband and hero. Pancreatic cancer took you from us far too soon and so very quickly. It's a year in September and it's still so very hard to face each day without you. I'm going to walk for you everyday in September remembering the walks we did together. Loved and missed every single day

Cayce

Remembering my dear Grandad John. He was light of our world and would do anything to make us laugh - even if that includes calling us porky! He is so dearly missed and it is in my best interest to raise this money to help others in that situation.

Laura

I am walking and fundraising in memory of my Dad

Eddie Dawson

Will be deeply missed

Kirsty NORVILL

I am doing this in memory of a close friend Jenny who has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and also my friends husband who has just started chemo for pancreatic cancer.

Juliet

Walking in memory of my dear friend Anne. We miss you so much and I will think of you with every step. Please donate even a little, anything will help support this campaign to give hope to others suffering. xx

Tracy

Walking for Paul who was taken poorly 1st September 2019 - passed peacefully 28th November 2019. 💔 Seems a fitting thing to do for you Paul, potentially help others who may go through the same thing. Every little helps- miss you every day Paul xxx ❤️❤️
